Adaptive Programs

Making the mountain accessible to all who love snow, Grand Targhee Adaptive Program creates skiing and snowboarding opportunities for individuals with physical, intellectual or cognitive disabilities. Enjoy special, high-end equipment and supreme teaching for a fun, successful, and safe experience. Each lesson is catered to individual needs including mono, bi-ski, three track, four track, visually or hearing impaired.

cHeck-In

Your instructor will have contacted for your meet time and location.  If you have not confirmed a time or place with an instructor please check in with the Mountain Sports School Office 15 minutes prior to lesson.  Our staff and instructors will meet you there to complete the check-in process and lesson meet and greet.  

If you require a private setting for gearing up please let your instructor know and they will direct you to our Adaptive Cabin.  If the participant requires private personal assistant to getting ready for the outdoors the chaperone will be the one to assist. 

Please sign our Winter Liability Waiver in advance.  All students must have lift ticket or season pass ready. 

Guests under 18, or any guest with legal guardianship over them must be accompanied by a parent or guardian to sign a release form if it has not already been completed online

cancellation policy

Cancellations made at least 72 hours in advance will be charged a $25 processing fee per lesson. Cancellations made within 72 hours of service date, or no shows will forfeit the total cost of the lesson. Every effort will be made to reschedule individual lessons with 72-hour advance notice, change is subject to availability. An additional fee may apply for lesson changes.

UPHILL TRAVEL NOTICE: Huckleberry and Big Horn runs are CLOSED. Please recreate responsibly. No sledding. Please clean up after your pets.  All uphill travel will be CLOSED starting November 18.

LODGING NOTICE: Lodging opens on the evening of November 21st. 

Mountain Safety
