Targhee Cirque Series
The Cirque Series is back to Targhee in 2025, redefining what mountain running is all about. The elevation is serious but the mileage is manageable, and the race is as hardcore as you want it to be. Beat the pros down to earn legend status & cash prizes, or enjoy the views & let the challenge be its own reward.
Race starts at the base of Grand Targhee, (elevation 7860' ft.), start your ascent near the base of Dreamcatcher chair next to Trap Bar patio. Immediately you start gaining elevation as you run up the service road via Teton Vista Traverse.
Incredible views of the Grand Teton come into view once you're about to hit the summit of Mary's Nipple (9,920' ft), you'll catch your breath, run along the ridge towards the saddle between Mary's and Peaked Mountain, this will be amazing high alpine world class mountain running.
