Gene Palmer Tribute Run
Gene Palmer was a Targhee legend who was an original member of Targhee's first board of directors. He worked as our Ski and Snowboard School Director when the resort opened in 1969. He inspired guests of all ages to learn how to ski by sharing his passion. With over 50 years of service at Targhee, Gene has left a lasting impact on the resort for years to come.
Join us in remembering Gene's love for skiing by participating in his tribute run on January 27th.
- Meet at 2:30pm at the base of Dreamcatcher
- Family friendly event on easy terrain (Palmer's Raceway!)
Skiers & those not skiing are welcome to join us for sharing ‘Gene Memories’ in Wild Bill's Grill at 3:00pm.
