The Ghee's Outdoor Pool
Escape the heat and head to Grand Targhee Resort, where you can take advantage of the outdoor pool and relax. Our pool is open to the public daily until 6:00pm.
Public Pool Hours:
- Monday - Friday: 12:00pm - 6:00pm
- Saturday & Sunday: 10:00am - 6:00pm
Lodging Guest Hours:
- Monday to Friday: 12:00pm - 10:00pm
- Saturday & Sunday: 10:00am - 10:00pm
The pool will be closed to the public during the Bluegrass Festival: August 7 – 11, 2025.

Grand Targhee is committed to providing an incredible summer experience for our guests, and ensuring you have everything you need to enjoy all our summer activities. This summer we’ll be offering poolside ordering of food, alcoholic, and non-alcoholic beverages from Powder Cache. You can also purchase food and/or beverages from The Trap, Snorkel's, or the General Store and consume it in the pool area. Outside food and beverages will not be allowed.

Quick Notes:
- There are limited day passes available, please book in advance.
- Pool memberships are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.
- Lodging guests do not need to book pool day passes and have extended hours beyond public hours.
- All non-lodging guests will need to check in at the Activity Center to obtain a Pool Access key card and wristbands.
- Membership guests can pick up their Pool Access Cards and Pool Passes starting June 13, 2025, at the Activity Center. Please bring your Pool Access Card and Pool Pass along with ID every time you visit the pool.
- There is no outside food or beverages/alcohol allowed in the pool area.
- Swim Lessons are provided by Learn 2 Swim. Learn more.
Pool regulations
Non-lodging guests, please sign our Summer Activities Liability form in advance to expedite the check-in process. Children aged 16 and younger must be accompanied by a parent or adult (18+.) and sign a release form if it has not already been completed online.
DAY Pass GUESTS
- All day passes are priced per person and valid for one day on the designated day purchased.
- Toddlers and babies fall under the Junior/Child pricing category.
- All guests must sign Grand Targhee Resort Summer Activity Waiver and check in at the Activity Center with a photo ID.
LODGING GUESTS
- Grand Targhee Resort Lodging guests may access the pool on a first-come, first-served basis observing capacity limits.
- Pool hours are Monday to Friday from 12:00pm – 10:00pm, and Friday to Sunday from 10:00am – 10:00pm. The pool is open for lodging guests exclusively between 6:00pm – 10:00pm daily
- Towels are provided.
- The pool area may be closed due to weather conditions or maintenance. No compensation will be issued due to pool closures.
MEMBERSHIP GUESTS
- Memberships are non-transferable. If a membership is shared with another guest, the membership will be voided with no refund and a fine of up to $250 may be required.
- All guests must sign a Grand Targhee Resort Summer Season Activity Waiver and present a photo ID to pick up their pool membership and access cards at the Activity Center.
- Membership access is only available during “Open to the Public” times.
- Forgotten, lost or stolen passes can be reprinted for $10.
POOL RULES
- The total pool area capacity limit is 73 guests.
- The summer pool capacity is 21 guests, the hot tub limit is nine guests, and the pool deck capacity is 43.
- Wristbands provided at the Activity Center must be worn at all times.
- Children 16 and younger must be accompanied by a parent or adult (18+).
- No outside food or beverages are allowed.
- No glass containers are allowed in the pool area.
- Swim diapers are required for young children.
- The pool will be cleaned periodically throughout the day.
- Due to weather conditions or maintenance, the pool or hot tub may be closed without advanced notice.
- Private swim lessons are available through Learn 2 Swim at Grand Targhee's pool. No other private swim lessons are allowed.
Outside Food and Beverage Policy Summer 2025
Please note, Grand Targhee has a no outside food and beverage policy for our pool area:
- No outside alcoholic beverages are permitted in the pool area.
- No outside food is permitted in the pool area.
- Food and beverages may be purchased poolside from one of our food and beverage attendees, or at any of our food and beverage outlets on the mountain:
- Powder Cache
- General Store
- Trap Bar and Grill
- Food and beverages purchased from one of our outlets may be consumed in the pool area.
- Water, water bottles and food/beverage items needed for infants are acceptable.

Go online or call our reservations team at 307-353-2300 x1. Pool day passes can also be purchased in person at the Activity Center, but are subject to availability.
Check-in information
Day Pass Guests must check in at the Activity Center with photo ID every time they visit the pool. Pool access cards and wristbands will be provided at check-in and all guests must be present.
Membership Guests can start their one-time check-ins at the Activity Center starting June 14, 2024, with photo ID, to receive their complementary pool membership cards and pool access cards.
Lodging Guests will receive their pool access cards at the hotel front desk at check-in.
Children 16 and younger must be accompanied by a parent or adult (18+).
Please sign our Summer Activity Waiver ahead of time to expedite the check-in process. Visit shop.grandtarghee.com, login to your account, go to My Account > Check In. (Guests under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian to sign a release form if it has not already been completed online.)
Cancellation Policy
All bookings for pool day sessions and memberships are non-refundable. If a guest is unable to use their booking the day of their scheduled session, they may transfer it to a future date during the 2024 Summer Season.
Pool Day Sessions must be re-scheduled with 24-hour advance notice. No-shows will forfeit the full amount of the session. In the event of weather or extenuating circumstances we will be able to move your pool reservation.
