The Colter lift

The opening of the Colter Lift this was a huge success! Before the first flakes flew for 22/23, mechanics, trail crew, mountain ops, grooming/heavy equipment crew, and lift operators worked tirelessly to open 30% more lift-accessed, marquee new terrain. The views are incredible!

Parking & Maintenance crew! Managing the flow of parking, keeping the lots clear, getting everyone parked in all while attending to resort emergencies to keep things running smoothly is one of Targhee’s toughest tasks. Kudos to this amazing team!

patrol

Ski Patrol, Lift Maintenance, Lift Ops, Grooming, Plowing and Shovel Crew battled a DEEP winter. It’s tough enough to get a ski resort open each morning, let alone when we’re lucky enough to have a 600” winter. Shovel crew spent many early mornings tied to the rooftops to keep us safe all winter. Patrol’s early mornings throwing bombs and clearing terrain allowed us to have some of our most memorable turns in recent memories. Lift maintenance and lift ops got lifts going through the most extreme conditions we have seen in a long time. Plowing team got the lots ready quickly. Grooming put the mountain back together many times. Here’s to all the warriors who wrestled old man winter.

The Events Team made many ski races, freeride competitions, and dozens of other events come to life this season. Few resorts would have bothered to host a ski race during a massive storm cycle, but most resorts don’t have an events team as professional and dedicated as ours. In any condition, our team hosts events that are fun for everyone.

Shout out to the Terrain Park crew who kept our parks in perfect condition, always changing it up to bring excitement to every lap. You guys killed it!

F&B team worked hard to keep our guests happy and their beer cups full. Thanks to the entire crew for everything!

The maintenance & lodging team worked hard to get 24 rooms in Teewinot renovated. The team spent many hours coordinating deliveries and assembling furniture to get the rooms ready for guests.

Here’s to the whole Targhee Team and an epic winter!
