IFSA Junior National Competition

Grand Targhee IFSA Junior National Freeride Competition!

ALL athletes and coaches must wear an avalanche beacon during inspection and competition while in the venue.

Competitor lift tickets are $40/day. Parent tickets are 20%/day. 

Competition Schedule: 

Wednesday, February 1st

(12-14 yrs.)

• 9:00-11:30am Athlete registration and check in at RCR North/base lodge.
• 3:00-4:00pm Athlete registration and check in at RCR North/base lodge.
• 4:00pm Athlete meeting in the Main Plaza/base lodge. 

Thursday, February 2nd (Qualifier Day)

(12-14 yrs.) 

• 7:00-8:00am Athlete registration & Check-in RCR North/ base lodge.
• 8:00am Early load for athletes and coaches Sacajawea lift.
• 8:15- 10:00am Venue inspection.
• 10:15am Qualifier Competition (1st run).
• 4:00pm Athlete meeting Main Plaza / base lodge.

Friday, February 3rd (Qualifier Day)

(15-18 yrs.) 

• 7:00-8:00am Athlete registration & Check-in RCR North/ base lodge.
• 8:00am Early load for athletes and coaches Sacajawea lift.
• 8:15- 10:00am Venue inspection.
• 10:15am Qualifier Competition (1st run).
• 4:00pm Athlete meeting Main Plaza / base lodge.

Saturday, February 4th (Finals)

(All athletes)

• 8:00am Early load for athletes and coaches Sacajawea lift.
• 8:15- 10:00am Venue inspection on Reliable/Bobcat.
• 10:15am Finals on Reliable/Bobcat.
• (TBD) 1.5 hrs after completion of finals Awards Ceremony Main Plaza.

Sunday, February 5th

• Weather day (if we lose a day!)
