The Teton Valley and surrounding area are where the Wild West lives on. Teton Valley is just a short 15-minute drive from Grand Targhee Resort and is home to great local food with plenty of unique ways to spend your day. Take a leisurely walk through Driggs or Victor to visit the numerous outdoor stores, art galleries, and shops. Spend a day over the hill at one of our National Parks, take in the National Museum of Wildlife Art across the street from the National Elk Refuge, or bounce around the town of Jackson Hole.

The world’s first national park, with all its geysers, wildlife, and geologic wonders, is just north of our resort. If your adventures are taking you to Yellowstone, Targhee is your home base.

You’ll find Targhee just east of Grand Teton National Park, and there might not be a more beautiful corner of the world. If you want to explore the wonders of the park, Targhee is your base camp.

Uphill access is now open until further notice. Please review our uphill policy and remember that the resort is closed. You are skiing at your own risk.

The snow access at the base area will be limited due to ongoing construction projects. The recommended uphill route is the Teton Vista Traverse. Active heavy equipment, winch cables and other dangerous equipment will be on the mountain, so please ski with caution at all times.
