Our retail stores are located in the base village – an intimate, comfortable world with accents of lodgepole pine and antique storefronts. When it comes to outfitting yourself and your family for winter adventure at Grand Targhee, Phat Fred’s Snowboard Shop, High Country Colors and The Edge Pro Shop retail stores are awaiting your discovery.

Featuring today’s latest ski and snowboard gear from the likes of K2 Skis, Burton, Smith Sport Optics and Giro helmets, our retail shops are only part of what makes them truly ideal resources. Our greatest assets are our people – all of whom have leading edge product knowledge and experience in performance skiing and boarding equipment. They might point you towards the hot, new Smith goggle or sunglasses for that cool après ski look. Not sure what you need?  Ask any of our folks and they’ll lead you to our demo center. And you can test as many different skis/boards/boots in a day that your legs can handle.

Little Rippers
Just for the kids, we've opened a whole new store, catering to toddlers and pre-teens. Items include skis, ski boots, snowboards, board boots, and clothing. All from top name manufacturers. The new store is conveniently located in the heart of the base area next to Phat Fred's. Come check out all the latest, just for kids!

General Store
Just like the name implies, generally everything from a quick soda to groceries and convenience items can be found in this rustic, western store. Forget something? Not to worry. We’ll have most anything you might need to have an enjoyable time. NEW- as of June 1, 2008, Grand Targhee Resort will no longer be selling cigarettes at the General Store due to our no smoking policy.

High Country Colors
You will find a terrific variety of unique souvenir gifts including T-shirts, hats, pins and a variety of men's, women's and children's ski clothing from Obermeyer, Nils, Icelandic Design and others. Our genuinely friendly staff will help you find that perfect gift or new clothing that is just right for you. All shopping is conveniently located in the main plaza of the resort, just steps from your room.

Phat Fred's
Let the locals lead you to the goods. Carrying the latest rides from Burton, Ride, and Never Summer along with outerwear from Burton and 686, Phat Fred's Snowboard Shop has everything you need to hit the slopes. The Edge Pro Shop
Specializing in ski gear and ski wear designed for optimum performance in the Tetons, the Edge Pro Shop carries the latest products from industry leaders such as K2 Skis, Salomon, Volkl, Smith, Patagonia, The North Face, Giro, Mountain Hardware, Cloudveil, Marmot, Oakley, Nordica boots and others.
Why buy before you try? We offer demos of every ski we sell and you can put your one day’s rental price towards the purchase of any new ski.
